Letter to Government Official
Currently the students in this class are writing a formal letter to their congressperson or the president. This is their first personal political action this school year. They are asking three questions they feel are important to their lives. As seniors they will graduate next May and enter a society with high unemployment, raising cost of college, and economic downturns. Do they have worries and fears starting a new life as adult? No one knows what the future will bring and the response to their questions may at lest bring some insight to what they will face and help with their decision making.
